Traveled to Europe, Orient and down to Australia by myself and with a school chum from San Francisco after two years of college and two working.
Married a navy man after some college and work. Lived in Virginia, Iceland, Hawaii, Colorado and now in West Virginia since husband's death in 2022.
Published Nationally in U.S. and Australia with magazine: Gifted Children Today in "93. Published intermittently on other articles in the U.S. Did some radio stories on NPR out of Colorado Springs.
Graduated Leeward Coll. in Waipahu, HI. Worked as a language and writing tutor for a couple of years. Later gave speeches on ADD kids for the masters program at University of Colorado at Colorado Springs every summer.
Have seen much of the U.S. and some of Canada traveling with husband in retirement.
Friends with Rich Testa and his wife and I started first grade with her in SF so knew her long before she married classmate Rich, whom I did not know in high school but he worked with cousins of mine. When she married Rich we reconnected accidentally in Colorado Springs. Have known her for over 70 years and now and she is married to Rich from my graduation class at Drake. It's a small world.
